In partnership with the Visit Downtown Campaign, Wild in Art, and OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital, Coraline’s Curious Cat Trail debuts in downtown Portland this August in celebration of the 15th anniversary of Coraline. The trail features 30 almost six-foot tall Cat sculptures, creating a free art trail for visitors to explore—complete with maps and digital interactions. Coraline’s Curious Cat Trail opens Friday, August 2, runs for 10 weeks, is free to the public, and will culminate with an auction to find permanent homes for these one-of-a-kind feline statues with proceeds to benefit OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital.

In partnership with the British Film Institute (BFI), LAIKA is proud to headline the upcoming film season, Stop Motion: Celebrating Hand-Crafted Animation on the Big Screen, this summer at London’s BFI Southbank. Extensive cinematic screenings—including all five LAIKA films—will take place alongside Frame x Frame, an exhibition showcasing LAIKA’s decades of artistry up close and personal. Frame x Frame visitors will get exclusive access to see an array of LAIKA puppets, props, dioramas, and movie artifacts, learn behind-the-scenes stop-motion secrets, and walk through an iconic Coraline set recreated at a human scale. The Frame x Frame exhibition runs August 12–October 1.
