Over the past 16 years, Kirk has been Supervising Director for our fleet of M&M’S content, winning awards and accolades in festivals and annual industry “Best of’s” heralding the long-standing appeal of the beloved character icons. He has also generated attention in recent years for his visually and technically innovative campaigns collaborating with agencies including TBWA\Chiat\Day’s Media Arts Lab, Amalgamated and BBDO Worldwide.
Kirk holds advanced degrees in visualization sciences and architectural design and an undergraduate degree in engineering. Early in his career, Kirk taught photography at Texas A&M University. He is currently on the Board for Portland Institute for Contemporary Arts and is co-owner of a Texas-style barbecue restaurant in Portland.
